The 12-race Turkey Day card at Churchill is highlighted by a pair of graded stakes races—the $200,000 Falls City Handicap (G2) for fillies and mares three-years-old and upward to be contested at a mile and an eighth on the main track, and the $100,000 River City Handicap (G3) for three-year-olds and up going nine furlongs on the Matt Winn turf course.

The graded stakes winners Go Maggie Go and Include Betty, 8-5 and 9-5 on the morning line respectively, headline the Grade 2 Falls City, which drew a field of 11. The Grade 3 River City drew a full field of 14—with a pair of also-eligibles—highlighted by 5-2 morning line choice The Pizza Man, a multiple grade one stakes winner with $2.1 million in career earnings.

Furthermore, Thursday’s card has yet another carryover in the Single Six Jackpot, which has a pot of $147,507. The multi-race wager will be offered on races seven through 12 on the Thanksgiving Day program.

The Green Sheet had a big day on Wednesday at Churchill giving out four winners—Dominant Class ($3.20) in the third race, Maximum Charges ($32.80) in the fourth, Unbridled Outlaw ($5.40) in the ninth, and Crown Royal Queen ($3) in the tenth—from a 10-race card. Additionally, the sheet nailed down a $354.60 trifecta in the fourth race on Wednesday’s program. For the meet to date, The Green Sheet is 42-for-173, hitting at a 24 percent win clip.
